Balance

To feel both stable and relaxed I focus most of my attention on the quality of my standing footprint.
Although you can practice improving your balance anywhere (in a queue, whilst washing up or doing your teeth!) barefoot is ideal. That way you can feel lots of information through the sole of your foot as it adjusts to keep establishing your base.
Some helpful things to notice -
✨is your weight is shared evenly through the foot, with plenty of sinking in the heel
✨whether your foot feels tense and gripped or wide and open
✨can the wobbling can quieten .. even for a breath or two
If you’re interested in improving your balance and movement either in a class or working with me 1:1 drop me a message through my website,
I’d love to hear from you,
Ellie
