Spinal rolling

Sensing that your spine is made of many joints, all of which have the potential to move individually we can learn to roll and flex through its length. Initially it may feel as though the spine comes down flat, in stiff sections - particularly the lumbar spine where the discs are thicker and can be more compressed. In classes here we practice many ways of gently creating more flexibility in this pattern so that eventually we can do a complete roll that is just as easy to reverse. No force, no strain, no breath holding!
